Verification of Credentials

The American Board of Clinical Social Work (ABCSW) provides primary-source verification of its Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (BCD) credential to Credentials Verification Organizations and other organizations in need of such services. BCD Clinical Social Workers meet ABCSW’s annual recertification standards, which include current practice, continuing education, and good standing in state licensure. BCD Clinical Social Workers meet the highest standards of practice including those recognized by national accreditation organizations.

The only means of credentials verification is to contact the ABCSW directly through the form below.

*Please note that as of Oct. 1, 2024, the price for all ABCSW Primary Source Verifications has increased to $100.00 per verification requested. In addition, all fee discounts and waivers for Active-Duty Military Primary Source Verifications have been discontinued.
