Verification of Credentials

The American Board of Clinical Social Work (ABCSW) provides primary-source verification of its Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work (BCD) certificants to CVOs and others in need of such services. BCD Clinical Social Workers meet NCQA, URAC, JCAHO and other standards, including annual recertification on the basis of currency of direct clinical practice, continuing education and state licensure in good standing.

The only means of credentials verification is to contact the ABCSW directly through the form below.  

The ABCSW does not charge for verification of active duty military personnel.

Responses will be sent within 72 business hours of receipt.

Current BCDs should not use this form for verification of their own credential.  Please contact us at [email protected] for instructions.
